King Fuemm
King Fuemm was formed in 96 in Zuerich from the remainders of Clan Millers Recycling Orchestra by Hansueli Tischhauser. He asked Jeroen to come and play organ with the seven piece band. The compact horn section (sax-trumpet-trombone) and their mutual interest at that time in old style Ska let them decide to go for an all Ska repertoire. JV recorded and produced a cassette -in old style- using just two mikes, which is still in demand. In 99 Hansueli left the band, so did drummer Thomas Haldimann and trombone player Heini Fümm. The group was reformed with Zuerich singer- guitarist Sibylle Aeberli and drummer Fredi Fluekiger added. Taking the opportunity to change style at that point, Jeroen spent weeks leading the mole existence while experimenting in the studio. The results of it were intended to be released on CD but the premature end of the group in 01 caused by agenda wars prevented this.
So some songs get their second chance here:
- Sons & Daughters (King Fuemm/Neville Brothers)
- Great Drain (visser)
- 7-2=5 (visser)
- Come On (aeberli)
